Georga has a background in policy research, media and communications, political staffing and management consulting.  Prior to joining Barton Deakin, Georga worked as an assistant media adviser and electorate officer in both state and federal government.

In her role with Barton Deakin, Georga is responsible for providing research insights into government policy and business developments for Barton Deakin’s clients, monitoring peak organisations and the industry community, assisting in the execution of stakeholder engagement and ensuring the smooth running of the office on a day to day basis. She is also responsible for analysing and developing Barton Deakin’s social and digital media output.

Georga studies a Bachelors degree in Law (Honours) and a Bachelors degree in International Relations at the Australian National University. She is particularly interested in foreign policy, international law, the involvement of women in politics and South American politics.

Georga is currently based in Canberra but grew up in country NSW and calls the regional hub of Orange her home.
