Terence Duggan is a part-time Policy and Business Analyst in Barton Deakin’s Sydney office. In this role, he provides research and insights into government activity and policy development to businesses and peak organisations, as well as operational support for directors and consultants.
Terence has worked as a policy researcher at the Centre for Independent Studies, a think-tank that focuses on a liberal approach to social and economic policy. He has also worked as a consultant and intern at a Sydney-based public relations firm, in this role, he provided advice and analysis for peak bodies on campaigns to effect public policy change.
Terence is an active member of the NSW Liberal Party, having served on Committees in his local branch and as a delegate to Young Liberal Council.
Terence studies at the University of Sydney and has completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Government and International Relations. His honours research focused on evaluating institutional design for post-conflict societies. He is in his penultimate year of a Bachelor of Laws, his second degree.
His particular interests include the regulation of technology and artificial intelligence, international trade, and competition policy.
